Our hope is that we can reduce recidivism in the community by turning inmate to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We offer a variety of programs and services at the Lapeer County Jail to facilitate that goal:

-Bible distribution

-Self-study Bible Courses

-Weekly church services

-Group Bible studies

-Library book cart stocked with Christian literature.

-One-on-one spiritual counseling with the Chaplain

Volunteer Opportunities

Partner with us. Consider sharing the story of FMM with your church mission board and church family. We need representatives in the community to tell the story of how God is using Forgotten Man in the jail to change lives for Him.

Serve with us. We have many opportunities for volunteers to join us. Please contact Chaplain Scott at the above phone number and email to learn more about the requirements of serving in the Lapeer County Jail.

Most importantly,

Pray with us. Reaching inmates for Jesus is not for the faint of heart. We need your prayers to lift us up as we counsel, teach, and lead in the jail. Pray also for hearts to be opened and lives to be changed in Jesus' name!
